Supported Living
Birmingham Rathbone’s Supported Living Services provide quality support for individuals (aged 16 or over – no upper limit) to find appropriate accommodation to meet their needs or to get support to live independently in their own home or tenancy.
As a specialist charity we understand the barriers that people with a learning disability/difficulty face and support our clients to:
- Find shared or individual accommodation
- Access training and employment
- Understand and keep to their tenancy agreements
- Access benefits
- Manage their money
- Access Health Services
- Make informed choices through information advice and guidance
- Make and maintain relationships
- Take part in social, cultural and religious activities
- Live a full, active and independent life
