Birmingham Rathbone provides quality accommodation with support for Vulnerable Adults with learning disabilities/difficulties and/or autism  in various locations across the City. We have accommodation in:

  • Kings Heath
  • Stirchley
  • Harborne
  • West Heath
  • Kings Norton
  • Acocks Green

We have a broad range of accommodation from group homes to bedsits to self-contained flats.

As a specialist charity we understand the barriers which people with a learning disability/difficulty and/or autism face and we support our clients to:

 

Obtain shared or individual accommodation
• Understand and keep to their tenancy agreements
• Claim any benefits which they are entitled to
• Manage their money
• Access training and employment
• Access health services
• Make informed choices with professional information, advice & guidance
• Make and maintain relationships
• Take part in social, cultural and religious activities
• Live a full, active and independent life
 

To be eligible to receive this service you must be an adult (aged 18 or over), have a learning disability/difficulty and/or autism, be a resident of Birmingham and must not be in receipt of or eligible for a care package from the City Council.
