Our aim is to empower people to live as independently as possible with assistance and support.
Birmingham Rathbone provides a Home Care service to adults (18 years or over – no upper limit) with a learning disability who live in the community. We work with Social Care and Health to arrange appropriate care packages to meet the individual needs of the clients we support.
This service helps people to live in accommodation of their choice and get support to build up their skills, gain confidence and make choices in all areas of their life.
The clients we support are fully involved in decisions about the care we provide to them through individual care assessments and multi-agency working. Because of the different levels of ability which people with a learning disability all the staff we employ are qualified, trained and have the relevant experience to support clients in all areas of their care needs.
